Description
13" (33 cm.) x 12" desk. The mahogany desk with black spindled legs features a leather writing surface and four small upper drawers. Along with a mahogany bench or foot stool with burgundy woolen cushion and copper accent studs. And with the following accessories: 5" French sac du voyage with bombe shape finished in fluted green silk and leather, and containing various bone sewing implements; 3" amusing cylinder box with roulette wheel on the lid, lettered "Voila Le Plaisir Mesdames" and containing inside a drawstring with a little hidden baby doll; parlor games including bone dominoes, Loto set in original box and checkers set in wooden box; and oval cylinder box containing a silk quilted muff with rope cords. Excellent ondition. French, circa 1870s.
