Description
7" (18 cm.) w. 9"h. The wooden lady's writing desk with slant front and cabriole gilt metal legs has hinged front with oval medallion center surrounded by garlands and floral wreaths, the medallion with a romantic scene of goddesses and cherubs. The slant front hinges open to a fitted interior. Excellent condition, repair to left back leg. The desk is marked "Modele Depose Brevete SGDG". French, circa 1885.
