Description
5" (13 cm.) Each is all-bisque with swivel head and peg-jointing at shoulders and hips, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes and single-stroke brows closed mouth, light brown mohair wig; including girl with unusual orange painted stockings and two-strap shoes, antique dress; and boy with painted white shoes and socks wearing formal gentleman's suit with medal. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: for the French market, circa 1885. Value Points: precious petite pair with wonderful costumes, rare stockings on girl.
