Bisque socket head, deep amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, mauve- blushed eyeshadow, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, dimpled chin, separately modeled pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose E. 11 J (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885. Value Points: especially beautiful face whose dramatic amber eyes perfectly complement her original velvet costume, original body and body finish, original signed Jumeau shoes.
