15" (38 cm.) One-piece carved wooden head and torso, carved flat back head and torso, elongated throat, narrow black enamel inset outlined eyes, dot shaped brows, pointy nose, thin line mouth with heart-shaped center, blush spots on cheeks, simple wooden arms and footless-legs with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: England, late 1700s. Value Points: well-preserved early wooden doll with excellent painting of features and blush, antique transfer-cotton dress, undergarments, silk bonnet.
