11" (36 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead with perfectly oval face and elongated throat, black sculpted hair in centerpart arranged smoothly around her ears and formed into a tightly-coiled chignon at the back of head, painted blue eyes with heavily-modeled eyelids, black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, closed mouth, slightly modeled bosom, slender kid body and lower wooden arms and legs, blue paper bands at kid/wooden junction, painted green shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1840. Value Points: specially detailed modeling with heavy eyelids, simple yet elegant hair style in the manner of Queen Victoria in the early days of her reign.
