21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, very large brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, rose eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1890. Value Points: very beautiful example of this model with dramatic deep eyes and richly painted lashes and eye shadow, original body and body finish.
