27" (69 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined subtly-shaded lips, very plump cheeks, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden fully-jointed body with very plump limbs, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 16 X. Comments: Kestner, circa 1882. Value Points: grand size of the closed mouth X series Kestner with especially fine bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
