One-piece carved wooden head and torso, bedpost-shaped head, flat torso back, elongated throat and rounded bosom, centered facial features, dark enamel outlined eyes, pointy nose, thin-line smile, defined chin, cloth upper arms, wooden lower arms with spatula-shaped hands, wooden peg-jointed arms and legs, brunette hand-stitched human hair wig. Condition: early light restoration to original finish. Comments: England, late 1700s. Value Points: the carving and painting of unusual centered facial features renders a most captivating expression, early costume with cape, bonnet, and undergarment is likely original.
