12" (30 cm.) Carved wooden head with painted black pate, slender face, deeply-sculpted eye sockets, tinted brows, eyes and mouth, all cloth body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Chinese Door of Hope Mission, the doll represents a wealthy man, circa 1930. Value Points: rare model, wearing black silk kimono with blue brocade medallion, over blue brocade full-length tunic and pink silk pants, black silk slippers and black cap, with original long queue.
