14" (36 cm.) coach. 36"l. with horses. Of wood with thickly-applied gesso and gilt painting, the coronation coach features exceptional detail of carving and ornamentation including (removable) roof surmounted by crown and two seated winged cupids with lyres, two driver's seated, two doors, and a double team of four white horses with velvet saddle and gilt-metallic straps. There is a (non-working) music box hidden under the interior seats. Excellent condition. From the workshops of Rudolf Szalasi of Germany, mid-1900s.
