9" (23 cm.) A bisque-head doll with sculpted laughing expression and painted facial features, blonde mohair wig, carton torso, wooden lower arms and legs, painted shoes and stockings, is seated upon a fleece-covered paper mache bunny with glass eyes and removable head for use as a candy container. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 13 a. Comments: Germany, circa 1900. Value Points: wonderfully-preserved condition of the rare candy container, with original costume and accessories.
