Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Fre A 9 Paris (head) (original Steiner paper label on torso). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1888. Value Points: all-original bebe has original wig, pate, body, body finish, and ivory silk costume and bonnet, undergarments, socks, and ivory kidskin shoes.
