Description
9" (23 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead doll, sculpted black hair in long ringlet curls onto shoulders, painted blue eyes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, slender kid body, wooden lower arms and legs. Condition: very good, original painted finish with light craquelure and age-darkened complexion, some kid reinforcement. Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: wearing original lace gown and undergarments.
