18" (46 cm.) Cream plush cat with painted accents is posed standing, bright green glass-like eyes, lashes, pink felt nose, felt mouth and tongue, whiskers, firmly-stuffed body with stitched-on costume of red and white checkered shirt, green felt pants, plush tail and paw hands and feet to match head. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Alberani Vecchiotti Milano (original gilt paper label, with attached hand-lettered label "Gatto con Bai II") Made in Italy Handmade (cloth label on foot). Comments: Alberani Vecchiotti, 1930s. Value Points: in wonderfully-preserved condition, the cat person wearing original Western cowboy style costume, hat, pistols.
