9" (23 cm.) Paper mache standing bunny with amber glass eyes, stand-up ears, painted mouth, paper mache torso with internal mechanism, spring-jointed upper legs paper mache feet, wearing original cotton dress and pinafore and with woven basket on its back. When wound, the bunny rocks back and forth as though walking. Condition: very good, mechanism is spotty. Comments: Germany, circa 1900. Value Points: unusual mechanical candy container.
