16" (41 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, black painted hair in short uniform finger curls, painted facial features, large blue eyes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with primly set lips, slender kid body with wooden lower arms and legs, painted green shoes. Condition: generally excellent, few minor rubs. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: wearing original costume and with original finish.
