Description
13" (33 cm.) h. 12"w. The wooden-framed coach is styled with arched roof edged with gilded carving with figural lady's head at each corner, with eight beveled glass windows, hinged doors and metal steps opening at both sides, and is finished with richly-layered gilt paint overall and has Fragonard style cherub and floral decorations on all sides and on the roof. The interior is lined with textured tapestry silk having a floral print, and the carriage rests upon a wooden base. Excellent condition. French, early 1800s.
