15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, small brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 189 (head). Comments: Kestner, circa 1910, from their character-puppen series. Value Points: wonderful expression with impressed crinkles around the eyes, dimpled lip corners, original body and body finish, fine luminous complexion.
