14" (36 cm.) Of cast iron, the two part stove consists of three-legged case with tray for ash removal, with hidden grill top that could be used if upper section is not in use; the upper section features angled walls designed for placement of cast iron flat irons to be kept warm. Four flat irons, each with raised design and initials H.C. on the upper side. Excellent condition. French, mid-1800s.
