18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulderplate, blue glass spiral threaded eyes with darker blue iris rims, dark painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, ash-blonde mohair wig over cork pate, stretched-kid over wooden body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, bisque arms from below the elbows, well-sculpted fingers, antique pique gown with soutache embroidery, undergarments, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4. Comments: French, circa 1870. Value Points: very beautiful face with lovely eyes, rare wooden articulated body and perfect bisque hands.
