23" (58 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, small brown side-glancing eyes, fringed upper lashes, one-stroke brows, grey eye shadow, accented nostrils, small closed mouth with two accent dots on bottom lip, brunette mohair stitched-on wig with two coiled side braids, felt torso and legs, jointing at shoulders and hips, finger stitched for holding handles of jump rope. Wearing red felt dress with checkered design in beige and dark browns, double collar, brown felt neck tie, organdy petticoat and undergarments, socks, red felt shoes, and holding woven jump rope with wooden handles. Condition: generally excellent, one small dent at back right side of throat. Marks: Lenci made in Italy (woven white tag). Comments: Lenci, model 30 from 109 series, the doll was illustrated in the 1928 Lenci catalog. Value Points: very fine state of preservation with very expressive facial sculpting and painting, strong fresh costume.
