7" (18 cm.) Brown felt swivel head, pressed and painted features, brown side-glancing eyes, painted curly lashes, side curvy brows, closed mouth with wide smile and four painted teeth, sculpted dimples, mythical large pointed ears, stitched-on green felt plump torso, jointed arms bent at elbows with intertwined clasped fingers, jointed hips of green felt legs, attached long red tail. Wearing yellow felt collar with diamond point edging, matching cuffs, padded striped leg bands, stitched-on orange shoes with yellow accents, wide-brimmed green hat with large green cloverleaf accent. Condition: generally excellent, slight fading. Marks: Lenci, Made in Italy (cloth woven label under collar). Comments: Lenci, model 271 from 1926 catalog in which the figure was named "Uzzolo" (Italian for whimsical or caprice). Value Points: delightful design incorporating imaginative pose such as clasped hands, rare features including ears and painted teeth.
