23" (58 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, small brown side-glancing eyes, painted curly lashes, grey eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth, accent dots on shaded lower lip, weft-stitched blonde mohair wig in soft curls, felt torso and limbs, jointing at shoulders and hips, two middle fingers sewn together. Wearing pretty party dress featuring white organdy skirt with black felt applique dots, green felt bodice, pink and yellow scalloped trim at hem, collar and cuffs, felt applique rose, undergarment, socks, green felt shoes. Condition: excellent. Marks: (square paper Lenci label, and fragment of rectangular Lenci label with name "Alice"). Comments: Lenci, series 109, "Alice", circa 1930. Value Points: beautifully-painted face is enhanced by vibrant well-preserved costume, unusual name tag.
