13" (33 cm.) Firmly-shaped black felt swivel head, elongated throat, painted facial features, googly-shaped blue oil-painted side-glancing eyes, tiny nose with accented nostrils, heart-shaped lips, black fleecy stitched-on hair, elongated felt body with stitch-attached jester costume in orange, teal blue and cream felt, black mitten hands, black felt leggings, orange felt shoes with upturned toes trimmed in blue felt tassels, teal blue stitched-on cap, holding felt flowers in right hand. Condition: doll is excellent, few moth holes at back of jacket. Comments: Lenci, circa 1920. Value Points: very rare early model, likely a premiere issue, with well-preserved colors and characterization.
