Description
8 1/2" (22 cm.) Light tan felt swivel head, highly-characterized pressed and painted features, narrow side-glancing brown painted eyes with brown eyeliner, painted curly upper lashes, arched brows, wide grinning expression, painted teeth, looped woolen hair with felt floral coronet, felt horns, wide ears, jointed arms and brown goat-shaped legs with wooden hooves, looped woolen "fur" on upper legs, extended tail. Condition: excellent with very minor fading. Comments: Lenci, model 203, presented as "Pan", the half man/half goat mythological figure, in the 1929 catalog. Value Points: most imaginative character with stitched-on costume and with original wooden horn instrument.
