19" (48 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, very full cheeks, small brown side-glancing eyes, dark eyeliner and painted curly upper lashes, grey lower eye shadow, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lower lips, weft-stitched blonde mohair wig, felt torso and limbs, jointing at shoulders and hips. Wearing riding ensemble comprising aqua felt jacket with beige collar, cuffs, and buttons, beige jodphur pants with eight button closures on legs, aqua felt tam, leather shoes. Condition: doll excellent, costume excellent except fading on jacket front. Comments: Lenci, series 110/64, 1927, the costume was offered in several color variations. Value Points: especially fine detail of facial painting in wonderfully preserved state, rare costume.
