17 1/2" (44 cm.) Felt swivel head, elongated slender-face, pressed and painted facial features, brown side-painted eyes, long painted upper lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, accented lower lip, dark brunette rooted hair, slender felt torso and limbs, jointing at shoulders and hips. Wearing felt tennis costume comprising white pleated skirt, green felt sweater with grey, black and yellow argyle felt bands, white felt dickey and headband, white leggings and felt tennis shoes, holding a wooden tennis racquet. Condition: doll is excellent, costume is faded and dusty, moth holes on sweater. Marks: Lenci, Torino (cloth tag on skirt). Comments: Lenci, series 400/G, the doll appeared in the 1926 Lenci catalog named "Elena". Value Points: well-painted facial features enhanced by stylish bobbed wig.
