6" (15 cm.) Firmly-stuffed burgundy red felt body, three-layer large felt applique eyes, black curly woolen loops forming a crown and tail and covering various parts of torso as though arranged at grooming studio, open mouth, felt tongue, red leash designed as hanging loop. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Lenci, a complete line of miniature felt dogs were introduced in the firm's 1933 catalog. Value Points: perfectly-preserved rare novelty with wonderfully imaginative detailing.
