Description
17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes with white eye dots, painted brown lashes, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent dots on lower lip, blonde mohair coiled braids, felt torso and limbs, jointing at shoulders and hips, middle fingers joined. Wearing cream felt pleated skirt with matching sleeveless top, yellow knit V-neck sweater with two little pockets, socks, brown cobbled shoes. Condition: generally excellent, shoes scuffed. Comments: Lenci, circa 1928, Series 300, the model was introduced in 1927 along with a companion little boy in knit sweater. The pair were featured in a special advertising card by Lenci in that year and were offered in a wide variety of sweater and skirt colors.
