Description
12" (30 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, painted curly upper lashes, mouth with modeled hole for insertion of cigarette, brown cropped hair, felt body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Wearing red and white checkered cotton shirt, blue pants, blue cap with wide brim, and cigarette in mouth. Condition: excellent except suspender straps worn. Comments: Lenci, BF series, Garella epoch, 1940s. Value Points: the urchin was likely influenced by the earlier Jackie Coogan doll based on the early film star.
