Description
17 1/2" (44 cm.) Felt swivel head, very plump cheeks and chin with pressed and painted facial features, narrow blue side-glancing eyes, dark upper eyeliner with curly lashes, single-stroke brows, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, accented bottom lip, felt torso and limbs, jointing at shoulders and hips, middle fingers joined, rooted black mohair wig. Wearing pink felt dress with grey felt bands and applique felt flowers, organdy petticoat with blue felt diamond-point edging, matching pantalets with five tiered ruffles, pink felt slippers, cream felt bandanna with blue felt applique accents, and carrying carpet switch. Condition: generally excellent, few tiny moth holes on dress. Marks: Lenci (square tag, and rectangular tag indicating series 1500/L). Comments: Lenci, 1500/L model, was made for only four years, 1929-1933. Value Points: rare model with delightful details of pantalets and bandanna.
