Description
9" (23 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, large brown side-glancing eyes, grey eye shadow, comma brows, accented nostrils, long curly lashes, "O" closed mouth, muslin torso and jointed legs, jointed felt arms. Wearing white cotton shirt, green-edged red felt vest, black short pants, socks, black felt shoes, brown skull cap and holding a white flocked piglet which is stitched-on attached to his hand. Condition: excellent. Marks: Lenci (silver foil lettered 310/94) (parchment label lettered "Sandrio"). Comments: Lenci, mid-1930, in costume of Sandria in the Lombardy region of Italy. Value Points: rare miniature model with original labels, original attached piglet.
