14" (36 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, grey eye shadow and curly upper lashes, closed mouth, rooted blonde mohair wig with side part, felt-like flannel limbs with jointing at shoulders and hips. Wearing green felt shorts and matching bow tie, light brown shirt, russet brown trench coat and shoes, socks, and carrying wooden tennis racquet. Condition: excellent. Marks: Lenci (cloth tag and Bambola paper label hand-lettered "Lucy 4"). Comments: Lenci, circa 1939. Value Points: perfectly preserved doll with artistic painting of face, perfect costume, wooden tennis racquet.
