17" (43 cm.) Sienna-brown felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, small brown side-glancing eyes, painted curly lashes, brown lower eyeliner, black upper eyeliner and painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pouty expression, black mohair wig with two narrow braids, sienna-brown felt torso and limbs, middle fingers joined, jointing at shoulders and hips. Wearing light brown trousers with inlay panels and scalloped edge chaps, matching slippers, matching headdress with elaborate feathering which extends to his feet at each side, felt and attached applique pouch. Condition: excellent. Marks: Lenci (square paper label and cloth label). Comments: Lenci, model 100/40, the doll was presented in the 1933 Lenci catalog. Value Points: considered one of the rarest Lenci models, the doll is in impeccable condition, with superb detail of headdress and embroidered applique pouch.
