Description
9" (23 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, painted lashes, accented nostrils, "O" shaped mouth, short brown mohair side-parted hair, muslin torso, felt limbs, tab-jointed shoulders, jointed hips. Wearing khaki green felt uniform of the Italian Bersagliere soldier with brass buttons on pockets, holster with wooden sabre, leatherette hat with voluminous drape of feathers and medallion, stockings, black leather shoes. Condition: excellent. Marks: Lenci (paper label). Comments: Lenci, Miniature series, 300/21, 1933. Value Points: very fine state of preservation on the wonderfully-designed miniature with rare hat.
