Description
9" (23 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, large brown side-glancing eyes, painted curly lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, "O" shaped lips, brunette mohair wide-parted hair, muslin torso and jointed limbs, felt jointed arms. Wearing brown felt suit with fitted jacket and tiny buttons, red bandanna and hankie, black felt cap and shoes, carrying rope and metal picks. Condition: excellent. Marks: Lenci, from the miniature series, the chimney sweep is shown in Lenci, The History and the Dolls by Nancy Lazenby, page 129. Value Points: the unusual occupational model is very rare to find, and perfectly preserved.
