Description
9" (23 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, blue side-glancing eyes, painted upper lashes, "O" shaped closed mouth, red stitched-on bib, muslin torso and jointed legs, jointed felt arms. Wearing red felt dress with burgundy felt polka dots and patches, black cotton head scarf, muslin undergarments with scalloped yellow edging, wooden clogs with red bows, and carrying wooden pink pig with blue polka dots. Condition: excellent. Marks: Lenci (cloth and paper labels, paper label march Miniature 19). Comments: Lenci, mid-1930s. Value Points: vibrant well-preserved costume enhanced by colorful wooden piglet.
