9" (23 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, painted lashes, "O" shaped mouth with shaded lower lip, blonde felt stitched-on hair, muslin torso and jointed legs, jointed felt arms. Wearing brown felt trousers, white shirt, green felt vest with embroidered flower over red undervest, brown shorts, brown felt tall hat with white feather and felt flowers. Condition: excellent. Marks: Lenci (silver foil tag) (parchment tag lettered "Bolzano Tirol"). Comments: Lenci, late 1930s, in traditional costume of the Italian Tyrolean region of Bolzano. Value Points: rare-to-find model with wonderful detail of hat, original tags.
