Description
9" (23 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, painted curly upper lashes, short-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed "O" shaped mouth, stitched-on blonde mohair braids, muslin body and jointed legs, jointed felt arms. Wearing cream felt dress with blue lattice banding, matching blue striped socks, black shoes, red felt hooded cape, and carrying felt basket of vegetables. Condition: excellent except moth holes on red cape. Marks: Lenci (cloth and silver foil tag lettered "Miniature 10"). Comments: Lenci, 1930s. Value Points: delightful depiction of the story book character.
