Description
8 1/2" (22 cm.) Felt swivel head, pressed and painted facial features, brown down-glancing eyes, painted curly lashes, single-stroke brows, "O" shaped mouth, brunette stitched-on wig with topknot braid and long curly braids at the sides, muslin torso and jointed legs, jointed felt arms. Wearing white felt dress with blue felt windowpane appliques, organdy petticoat and pantalets with blue felt scalloped rick-rack, socks, blue shoes, (white cotton apron with blue edging is included albeit stained) and carrying broom. Condition: excellent. Marks: Lenci (cloth and silver foil label lettered "Miniature 1"). Comments: Lenci, early 1930s. Value Points: wonderful hair style on the early model.
