15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig with coiled braids, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body, straight wrists, antique comb and bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7. Comments: Sonneberg, mystery maker, circa 1885. Value Points: especially charming demeanor enhanced by large blue eyes, lovely bisque, original body and body finish.
