28" (71 cm.) Bisque socket head, large brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pale accented lips, separately modeled pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, body repainted. Marks: 13 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, his model known as Bebe Triste in reference to its wistful expression. Value Points: the very beautiful pale bisque is contrasted by rich brown eyes and softly blushed eye shadow.
