Description
7" (18 cm.) One-piece all-bisque head, torso and legs, loop-jointed arms with starfish-shaped hands, sculpted topknot and forelock curl, blue wings, painted side-glancing googly eyes, impish smile, blushed cheeks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: O’Neill (incised on feet). Comments: Germany, circa 1915, designed by Rose O’Neill. Value Points: the Kewpie is presented in original fitted bunting with rose silk ribbons.
