Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, bright blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with daintily-accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, original French poupee body with shapely muslin torso and legs, kid arms with separately-sculpted finger. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose (forehead) C (head). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, the facial model was deposed by him in 1872 with distinctive smiling expression. Value Points: exquisite modeling and painting, beautiful original gown with extended train, undergarments, coiffe, turquoise earrings.
