Description
18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with very plump rounded face, large round blue glass googly eyes which move side to side by wire lever at the back of head, dark eyeliner, smoky eyeshadow, angled brows enhance the wide-eyed expression, accented nostrils, closed mouth with impressed dimples at lip corners, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with plump tummy, wearing linen sailor suit and cap. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 8723 Einco Heubach (in square) 8 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1918. Value Points: the rarely found googly has exemplary bisque and painting, well-functioning flirty eyes, original toddler body and body finish.
