Description
8" (20 cm.) Posed standing upon a faux-grass base is a brown bunny with shaded finish, upright ears, amber glass eyes, and jointed shoulders, wearing original flannel costume and muslin apron with generous front pocket which he holds open with both hands; there is a hidden spiral spring in his torso and when his body is pushed down, he opens his arms and the apron unfolds to reveal (originally) candies; still more candies were presented in the floral decorated box upon which he is attached. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1890.
