18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with amber-tinted complexion, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted black curly lashes, black brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig in up-swept fashion, amber-tinted composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing antique kimono and trousers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Simon & Halbig Germany 1329 6. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: especially fine complexion with gleaming highlights, superb costume with rich embroidery of floral and crane scene.
