14" (36 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead turned to the side, grey windblown sculpted hair and neatly-trimmed beard, enamel eyes, strong nose, mouth modeled closed, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, original shepherd costume, and carrying bagpipe with wooden frame and suede bag. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
