16" (41 cm.) Light brown bisque socket head with gleaming patina of complexion, brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, black brushstroked and feathered brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, row of tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, brown composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique costume including embroidered burgundy woolen dress, undergarments, red ankle boots, woven bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Dep 4 (and faint red Tete Jumeau stamp on head) (partial boutique paper label on torso). Comments: Jumeau, circa 1895. Value Points: rare brown-complexioned variation of the Dep model with very pleasing flawless complexion, original body and body finish.
